Hello! My name is Angela, and I’m a senior in Cinema Studies minoring in Film & TV. I grew up in Bergen County, NJ, but I’d regularly spend summers or winters visiting my mom’s family in Thailand. I love to travel and I’ve been out of the country ~15 times. Besides film, I also really enjoy history and art and love going to museums. I grew up a competitive dancer, and I still love to dance. I love live theater, live music- anything where you can experience performance art on a stage.

I grew up hating movies because I could never pay attention long enough to finish one- I was an avid reader and my two favorite series of all time were Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Maximum Ride. I grew up watching a lot of television, and I have major soft spots for Cartoon Network and CSI. I grew up really chronically online in fandom spaces on sites like Tumblr and Instagram and was concurrently a victim to the vlogging golden age on YouTube. I’d also collect magazines- I convinced my parents to let me get a Vogue subscription at age 11 and would keep issues of Alternative Press in a box in my room. I love horror movies and thrillers, but I also really enjoy martial arts and action movies. And musicals.
